“One drop of kindness is all it takes to fill a heart with love.”

PASSION IN A FRAME by Juliana Atasia Maaghop.
In this frame, I see an empowered young leader who ought to be in service for Baybay, who enjoys being surrounded with young leaders who inspire her, and just someone who is proud to be a Filipino-youth.
Growing up, I have always been inspired as to how many young leaders continue to fight for the causes that they believe in with pure bravery and sincerity for the young people. I am always thrilled whenever I get to be surrounded by these aspiring leaders because I am thereof reminded and humbled that I am not alone in seeing hope and in helping to address all these challenges that are faced by the youth especially in today’s time. And so by this, I ought to my beloved City of Baybay, my hometown in which I’m nourished and mentored, that I will always give back my services to my fellow-Baybayanon youths in ways I know and in ways I can. Above all, through this jacket, I just feel so proud and empowered to bring the spirit of being a Filipino-youth with me.
Grateful always to SK Baybay thru Kuya Mark whom I really looked up to and for helping to empower many young hearts in believing that we can always grow and be so much more.
I’m Juliana, a proud Baybayanon, and in service for the Baybayanon and Filipino-youth, I remain.

To the next generation of leaders, make this a challenge for yourself! As you go through education and everyday life, doors will occasionally turn wide open and then end up closing as you attempt to reach them. It’s always beneficial to establish your goals, then reassess them as you simply continue.
Sometimes struggles will appear insurmountable, but if you take the time to thoughtfully contemplate them, you might be able to find a way around, through, or over them. Keep in mind that the journey ahead could not be the one you expect. Never let yourself become so focused on a single accomplishment that you neglect other—possibly superior—ways to have a positive impact. Last but not least, never undervalue the influence of your education, your loved ones, your friends, and your willpower.
With love and respect,
Kuya Jorge Garpa
