WEMBOREE: Changing the Mindset from ME to WE of the DILG Leyte Provincial Office.
SK Federation President, Hon. Mark Unlu-cay was invited as resource speaker during the WEMBOREE: Changing the Mindset from ME to WE of the DILG Leyte Provincial Office.
One of the commitments of the Local Government Academy (LGA), under Operation Listo is the WEMBOREE: Youth Innovators DRR-CCA Leadership—a campaign in strengthening volunteerism among the youth, harnessing their participation and unleashing their potential in helping build or strengthen the readiness in mitigating and responding to disaster risks.
In line with this, the LGA in collaboration with the DILG Region 8 and the DILG Leyte Provincial Office spearheaded the WEMBOREE: Changing the Mindset from ME to WE at Gab Water Park Resort, Javier, Leyte.
Present during the WEMBOREE are representatives from DILG, Thelma T. Vecina, Executive Director, Local Government Academy (LGA), Annabelle V De Asis, CESE, DILG Leyte Provincial Director, Jerry A. Enriquez, LGOO VII, Adrian Thomas E. Colasito, LGOO VI, Assistant Division Chief, LGMED, DILG Regional Office 8, and other DILG Leyte Provincial Office Personnel.
The participants for the said activity are Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation Presidents and/or representatives from the 41 LGUs of the Province of Leyte and members of youth-led organizations.
